A final thank you from Nancy

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all my family and friends who gave so freely of their time over the past four months. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all the sacrifices you made.

Any campaign comes at a cost to the candidate’s family in terms of time spent focused on the campaign. My family has been my ROCK through this process — I would not be who I am without them.

To the 4,827 people who believed in me and cast a ballot for me, thank you! I enjoyed connecting with many outstanding St. Norbert-Seine River citizens since late June and look forward to continuing to forge community connections.

It’s a new day at City Hall, with a new group of people chosen by the citizens of Winnipeg. I wish all the best to the new council. May you have wisdom in your decision making as you strive to best represent the people of your wards and our city.

And finally, a huge thank you to all the candidates who had the courage to put their names on the ballot. You kept the democratic process alive and well.
